New Business!!!!!
Feb 23rd
Great news! Myself, with the amazing Matt Sampson, have joined forces to form HS Political Consulting. We offer strategy, technology, budgeting, and are basically a one-stop shop for candidates looking to win an election. Our website is still in the design stage, but stay tuned to hear about it. If you would like more information, or just want to say hi at my new email, its mitch (at) hspolitical (dot) com. We have a candidate that we are working with, for an election this fall. I am sure that you will all hear more about this as we move forward. This new addition does not affect my freelancing-if you have a project, or know someone who does, let me know!!

Thoughts on email in a small office
Feb 18th
fahrenHEIGHT360′s office is tiny. We can walk from one side to another in about 20 steps. However, we send tons of interoffice email. Many of them are of the “Thanks!” type or the “Got it!” type or the “food is in the Bar Napkin” type. These flood my inbox, distract me with a notification, and divert my attention.
Now, I love email. Either I am getting it on my Mac, or on my Treo. There are very few moments in the day that I am not connected. However, I am someone who swears by signal-to-noise. This is the theory that information coming in is either signal or noise-the goal is to maxamize signal, and have an acceptable level of noise. Like a fine steak, some fat is needed for flavor.
I just think that, when the email takes longer to write then it would to stand up and say over the desk wall, you should not write it. Maybe it is time to look into Yammer for my office…
What are your thoughts on this? Am I being a cranky young gun about these? Or do one line email with no realy value get on your nerves too? Dicuss below…
